Inescapable is an upcoming thriller movie. It is a thriller about a father's desperate search for his daughter and the chaos of the Middle East he left behind. Tells the story of a Syrian expatriate (Alexander Siddig) whose journalist daughter goes missing in Damascus. He returns to his homeland to find her and calls on a former flame (Marisa Tomei) to help him, as well as an embassy official (Joshua Jackson) who may have an agenda of his own.

The story of a former Syrian intelligence agent (Alexander Siddig) whose daughter goes missing in his former homeland plays like a cinematic answer record, rebutting some of Taken’s macho paranoia while reveling in its brawny brainlessness. It’s a deeply confused movie, sometimes productively so.
Writer-director Ruba Nadda’s Damascus-set thriller Inescapable may be just about palatable. But that casting choice is really only one of many unconvincing decisions in this contrived Canadian. Siddig has proved himself a better performer
